July 29: Montparnasse Tower

Last night I went to the top of the Montparnasse Tower. Parisians joke that it is the best view of Paris because you can't see the Montparnasse Tower. We also went at night, and it was beautiful! One of my favorite things about being here is climbing to the top of towers and monuments, then finding all of the major monuments (Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Sacre Coeur, etc). Here are some pictures of the amazing view!

July 28: Disneyland Paris

Today, I got to act like a five year old, as I ventured through Disneyland Paris. A once in a lifetime experience, and I had the time of my life. Here are some pictures from my visit!

July 25: Harry Potter Part 2 and Arc de Triomphe

The Harry Potter Expo was too great, and I had to go. Then, I went to the top of the Arc de Triomphe, and it was the best view of Paris that I've seen so far.

July 23: Pere Lachaise, Parc des Buttes Chaumont, and the Seine

Our fieldtrip consisted of the Pere Lachaise Cemetery and Parc des Buttes Chaumont. Honestly, we just kind of wandered around the cemetery, and I didn't take many pictures.
Parc des Buttes Chaumont was very beautiful. I've never seen a park like this in America.
Later in the day, I went back to Shakespeare and Company, which is always amazing. Then, to the Seine River.
Bonus: I got gelato because it's one of my favorite things here.

July 19: Harry Potter Exhibit

La Cite du Cinema is currently hosting a Harry Potter Exhibit in Paris. It included movie props from all 8 movies, and it was incredible. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to experience this.
The Fat Lady! She was singing!
"Cornish pixies?!?" "Freshly caught Cornish pixies!"
Mandrakes actually cried when you pulled them up.
Umbridge's office
Buckbeak
Monster Book of Monsters
Azkaban Prison
Kreacher
Petrified Colin Creevy
"Dobby never meant to kill....only main or seriously injure".
Phoenix tears have healing powers

I didn't take a picture of it, but the souvenir shop looked just like Diagon Alley- Ollivander's Wand Shop and all! & yes......I got a wand!
